Hi, I'm Dr. Stephanie Hillier! I grew up on the Northside and I currently live in North Sydney with my husband Nathan and our sweet little cocker spaniel, Sophie.
I joined the team at Sydney Family Dental in 2016 after studying biology, math, and dentistry at Dalhousie University. I am thrilled to be home.
I took over ownership of the clinic from Dr. Mary Yurchesyn in 2018 and since then I've had so many new learning opportunities, especially having to navigated my first pandemic as a business owner. However, all in all, I feel extremely honoured and privileged to be leading this amazing team and caring for our patient family.
I enjoy all areas of general dentistry, and I appreciate the variety it provides. I believe dental care is an essential part of overall health and wellness; and I hope to inspire our community to take pride in our oral health. The highlight of my work is seeing patients smile and their confidence shine!
I am passionate about lifelong learning and strive to continually grow as a care provider, team leader, and business owner.
Outside of the office, I try to live my best Island life through peaceful evening harbour walks and highland hikes to big ocean vistas! I love hot tea, sunsets, science, trying new things, and being in nature. I'm also a "wanna-be" yogi!
Micheline is a recent graduate from the class of 2021, at Dalhousie University. She started her education graduating from Cape Breton University in 2014 as a Registered Nurse, and worked in critical care before going into dentistry.
Outside of work Micheline lives in Mira with her husband Mitch, and their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and of course being outside with her dogs!
Micheline is very excited to start her career in dentistry and become apart of the team at Sydney Family Dental Centre!
